Therese Rose is a Real Estate Advisor & property manager. She serves buyers, sellers, homeowners, and relocation clients throughout the Monterey Peninsula and California’s Central Coast. A longtime local resident, she has lived in the region since 1991 and brings decades of community knowledge, professional experience, and client-focused service to her real estate practice.

Therese first came to the Monterey Peninsula to study translation at the Monterey Institute of International Studies, where she earned her master’s degree. Her career in translation included seven years with Siemens in the San Francisco Bay Area, followed by her own freelance translation business and several years teaching German-to-English translation. This background sharpened her communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to navigate complex information with precision.

In 2018, Therese transitioned into real estate at the Highlands Inn in Carmel Highlands, where she worked closely with guests, owners, and the real estate team. During that time, she earned both her California real estate license and notary commission and became known for meticulous organization, dependable follow-through, and an exceptional level of customer service.

Her experience includes roles with Highlands Inn, Shankle Realty, and Coldwell Banker, giving her a broad understanding of real estate operations, client care, and the expectations of buyers and sellers in the Monterey Peninsula market.

Therese also brings nearly two decades of HOA leadership experience, serving as a board director and primary point of contact for homeowners and vendors in her community. That experience provides valuable insight into property ownership, association matters, vendor coordination, and the details that can influence a real estate decision.

Known for her professionalism, thoroughness, and genuine desire to help people, Therese believes clients deserve clear communication, careful attention, and a real estate experience where the details are handled correctly.

Outside of real estate, Therese enjoys long-distance running, cycling, hiking, gardening, reading, and playing cribbage. She also volunteers with her church and maintains active status with the Monterey Community Emergency Response Team.
